The Illinois Network for Women in Higher Education (INWHE)

The Standing Committees or Advisory Councils of this INWHE shall be the: Awards Committee, Communications and Membership Committee, Conference and Programming Committee, and Communications and Membership Committee.

AWARDS COMMITTEE:

The Award Committee shall develop, publish and select INWHE annually awards such as those for Illinois institutions that demonstrates, though policies and practices, exceptional accomplishment in the development of women leaders at all levels of the institution.

COMMUNICATIONS and Membership COMMITTEE:

The Communications and Memberships Committee shall develop, edit, and publish relevant publications as requested by the Board of Directors and shall manage the corporation’s Web site. A chairman will be elected by the committee.

Conference and PROGRAMMING COMMITTEE:

The Conference and Programming Committee shall be responsible for planning and carrying out all conferences, events and receptions. A chairman will be elected by the committee. The Regional Coordinator(s) shall be member(s) of the Programming Committee.
