The Illinois Network for Women in Higher Education (INWHE)
is open to all women administrators, faculty and staff at all public and private, two-year and four-year institutions in the state, as well as to women in related higher education organizations and associations. The Network encourages institutional membership for participation in Network activities.

The Illinois Network exists to:

  • identify and develop women leaders in higher education,
  • to support them in advancing their careers, and
  • to link them to other women and mentors.

Institutional Membership - The Illinois Network exists to identify and develop women leaders in higher education, to support them in advancing their careers, and to link them to other women and mentors. Institutional membership demonstrates support for the advancement of women and provides access for the institution’s faculty and staff to Network-sponsored events focused on developing administrative and leadership skills.

Individual Membership - The Illinois Network exists to identify and develop women leaders in higher education, to support them in advancing their careers, and to link them to other women and mentors. If your college or universiity is not an Institutional member, you may become an individual member by completing the Individual Membership Form and mailing it along with $50/year.
